Survey and Statistics Division

• Conducts the Annual Employer and Employee Census conducted in November every year. This census requires employers in the companies to provide information of employees under their liability to the Department of Labour as provided under Section 3 (1) Employment Information Act 1974, Chapter 99.
  

• Collecting, compiling and analyzing the Employers and Employee statistics in Private Sector
  
  
• Produces statistics relating to labour for use and reference of relevant users of the statistics which include the Department of Labour, the Ministry of Home Affairs, agencies and government Ministries, embassies and high commissions abroad and other users.
