Services - Domestic Helpers License

 

For citizen of Brunei Darussalam or Permanent Residents Application:

1. Completed form. (BUR 301)
   
2. Valid copies of the applicant's and his/her spouse's identity cards.
3. Completed financial details form. (BUR300)
4. Copies of the applicant's latest salary slips.
5. A copy of birth certificate and/or identity card for children or other family members living in the same household.
6. Authorization letter from the Government  of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan or Brunei Darussalam for Government Housing or Tenancy Agreement (if applicable).
7. Copy of Registration of Companies or Form X of the Applicant and/or his/her spouse (whom holds ownership of the business).
8. Copy of authorization letter for pensioners.
9. Other income details (if any) such as Tenancy Agreement for businesses/ residence.
10. Copies of spouse's latest salary slips (if needed to support applicant).
11. Copy of Doctor's verification letter for the Application for sick or other special needs family members (if applicable)
12. A copy of mother/father/mother-in-law/father-in-law identity card if the application of this licence is intended for the case of the mentioned (Kebenaran Khas).
13. For the position of driver, please include a copy of the vehicle Bluecard and children's daily school routine schedule/timetable and/or other activities.
    

Additional Documents needed in relation to Deposit for Domestic Helper License:

1. 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).

Additional Documents For Foreign Citizen Application

1. A copy of the contract of service or offer letter from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DI-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
2. A copy of the contract of service between the applicant and the employer endorsed by the Commissioner or Labour.
3. Approved Work Pass Recommendation (BUR500/555) by the Department of Labour.

For citizen of Brunei Darussalam or Permanent Residents Application:

2. Original Domestic Helper License.
3. Valid copies of the applicant's and his/her spouse's identity cards.
4. Copies of the applicant's latest salary slips.
5. Completed financial details form. (BUR300)
6. Letter explaining reason's for additional.
7. Copy of authorization letter for pensioners.
8. A copy of identity card for family members where applicable (Kebenaran Khas).
9. Copies of spouse's latest salary slips.
10. A copy of birth certificate and/or identity card for children or other family members living in the same household.
11. 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).

Additional Documents needed in relation to Deposit for Domestic Helper License:

1. 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).
   
2. Copy of Security Deposit Receipt (if applicable).

Additional Documents For Foreign Citizen Application:

1. A Copy of the contract of service or offer letter from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam
2. A Copy of the contract of service between the applicant and the employer endorsed by the Commissioner of Labour.
3. Approved Work Pass Recommendation (BUR500/555) by the Department of Labour.
